A Level Examination News
We are very pleased with the achievements of our A level students this year: at A level, 97% of all results were graded A* to B and 36% of entries were the awarded the A* grade. Overall, 85% of the year group were awarded A* and A grades.
On an individual level, 21 girls achieved 3 or more A* grades and 44 girls achieved 2 or more A* grades. These figures represent an increase both in A* and cumulative A*and A grades on the previous year; this is particularly welcome as it runs counter to the reported national fall in top A level grades.
Their exam success has meant that the nearly all the U6 girls have been able to realise their university places, despite a very competitive national environment; we are very proud of them.
