Today we bid a fond farewell to both Upper 5 and Upper 6 who came back to school for their Book Return Day. A formal assembly in Prevett Hall included presentations and thanks and ended with a rendition of the School Carmen.
After visiting teachers and returning books Upper 6 had lunch in the Philosophers’ Garden before leaving school to prepare for this evening’s joint Prom with the Boys’ School.
Upper 5 enjoyed a sing-a-long version of Grease via an outdoor cinema on the field. Afterwards Miss O’Connor’s garden played host to a BBQ lunch.
We wish all our departing students the very best of luck and we look forward to seeing them back in school in the future. To our Upper 5 we say a temporary goodbye before they rejoin us in September as members of Lower 6.
