After weeks of intense preparation, the Lower 4 recycled fashion show came to its glorious conclusion on Friday.  Each class strutted on the catwalk showing off their fabulous creations made solely from old junk.

The theme was “our fragile Earth” and four vulnerable areas were chosen as inspiration for the outfits; desert, oceans, polar and jungle.  Bronte M introduced each group who came up to talk about their inspiration for their clothes.  We were very lucky to have Old Girl Emma Ross come and judge the costumes along with our Head Girl, Deputy Head Girl and Miss Wright.  All of the outfits were amazing and the high standard was praised by the judging team.

It seemed a bit unfair to select only 4 winners but after intense discussion the following groups were chosen: L4A won the Desert category with their burnt orange skirt being highly praised.  The fish headdress from L4 alpha won them the title for Oceans.  L4A pipped the other forms to the post in the Jungle groups with their leaf top being mentioned for its beauty.  And of no surprise to anyone L4Aesc won Polar with the stunning cape made from shredded paper.  An additional prize was awarded to L4Aleph for the best individual item of a hair band made from an IKEA bag.

Lower 4 would like to thank Mrs Hobbs for organising the event and Komal V for the music and sing-a-long.
