Anya and Ruby in Upper 6 represented Habs Girls at the North London Spanish Debating Competition at Merchant Taylors’ School yesterday. There were 20 teams participating and our students took part in two debates on the subjects of Armed Intervention in Foreign Conflicts and Mass Tourism in Spain, winning one debate and drawing in the second. They had worked with great enthusiasm and commitment to prepare for the event and they performed brilliantly, defending their point of view very convincingly in excellent Spanish.
