We were thrilled to welcome Neelam from the Islington Migrant Centre to our yearly Harvest Festival service on Monday. She spoke to students and staff about her journey and of the support she has received from the centre and about the difficulties faced by refugees and migrants in this country.

Thanks to the generosity of students, staff and parents we were able to create an amazing display of food and hygiene products and these were transported to the centre. They were thrilled with the sheer size of the contribution this year.

A big thanks to the Sixth Form who helped with the assembly, to Lower 5 who loaded up the minibus and to Neelam for coming in to talk to everyone. We are hoping to expand our work with the Centre over the coming months.
