Key Stage 2 | Girls' School | Haberdashers' Girls' School

Up to ten new pupils join Year 3 each year. They are carefully integrated into newly mixed classes to help them settle quickly, ready to make the most of the huge range of opportunities offered by the curriculum and extracurricular programme.

As pupils progress through Years 3 to 6 (Key Stage Two) they encounter more subject specialists. Science lessons, which are taught in the well-equipped laboratory, strongly feature practical and investigative work. The Art room is a magnificent space for the creation of stunning works of art, while pupils can feel transported to another culture as soon as they step into the Languages room where they are taught French and German.

The curriculum does not narrow as pupils get older; rather, we are able to offer the breadth and balance that feed the imagination and encourage independent, lifelong learning throughout the Junior School.

“ They are active learners who explore, investigate, and are able to make choices and decisions. ”
