On Monday 22 January we presented the current Lower 6 with their GCSE certificates and prizes, which was postponed in December due to snow. We were delighted to welcome back Old Girl Helen Gough (1989) to speak to the students and parents about her life in industry and the exciting challenges that lie ahead.

Students who gained at least 9 A* grades at GCSE are awarded a Governors’ Prize, with over 45 achieving the mark this year. The Gilliland Scholarship, awarded to the student obtaining the highest mark in GCSE English, was jointly awarded to Alice Craig and Devon Lloyd-Morris. Miss Zelensky’s Prize for Mathematics, awarded to the student obtaining the highest mark in GCSE Maths, was awarded to Suganya Arnold. The Ruth Elias Jones Prize, awarded to recognise a student who has shown great strength of character alongside consistent academic scholarship, was awarded to Stephanie Frank.

The evening was a real celebration of all that Habs girls achieve and we are very proud of all of them.
