On Wednesday 13 June we hosted an Institute of Engineering and Technology Faraday Challenge Day.  Four visiting schools and two teams of Habs Girls students became real-life engineers for a day and researched, designed and built solutions to real engineering problems. The event aims to encourage more young people to study and consider exciting and rewarding careers in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) by using creativity, innovation and problem-solving skills.  All of the students involved received certificates and goody bags from the IET and the teams very much enjoyed pitching their final designs to the judges.
