It is with great pride we would like to announce that lacrosse sports captain Ashley (U6 CW), has been selected to represent England in the under 20s World Cup for lacrosse this summer.

Taking place in Hong Kong in August, the tournament comes just over a year after the England U20 women’s team claimed European glory at the 2023 European Lacrosse Federation Women’s U21 Championship in Prague, Czech Republic.

Ashley has been attending U20 England Squad training sessions for almost two years now, working tirelessly as a team and working on various tactics and plays on the run up to these selections.

Ashley will now have a series of practice scrimmages lined up against senior national squads including England, Scotland, and the Netherlands as part of their training weekends and ensure the team is in the best shape possible come the championships in August.

Earlier this year, England were drawn in Pool D alongside Ireland, Jamaica, Japan, and hosts, Hong Kong with their first game against Jamaica.

We would like to wish Ashley the very best of luck as they continue their preparations for the summer, this is a display of sheer determination, ambition, commitment and athletic prowess.
