School Life | Elstree | Haberdashers' Girls' School

The school day is busy and varied and a typical student might be expected to attend an assembly, have up to seven different subjects and attend a lunch time and after school rehearsal, club or sports practice. Lunch is served in our purpose-built Dining Hall after which students are free to wander the extensive grounds or spend time in the Learning Resources Centre.

Habs is a caring environment in which everyone is encouraged to pursue their interests whilst also taking any new learning opportunities. Simply taking part is always valued as is learning for learning’s sake. Students are well-supported both emotionally and educationally; there is always someone, whether it be fellow student or teacher, to turn for additional help and guidance.
