On Sunday 9 September the school hosted the annual Reunion and AGM of the Old Girls’ Club. Over 150 former students and members of staff were in attendance for a lovely afternoon of catching up and renewing old acquaintances.

The day began with the annual Old Girls vs First Lacrosse Team, which is always a fircely contested event. In what was a tight game, the Old Girls (augmented with some current Habs students) came out on top as 7-6 winners.

After a welcome drinks reception Miranda Barnett, President of the Old Girls’ Club, led the AGM that included the unveiling on our tremendous new Acton Head Girls boards. These boards will hang alongside similar boards recognising the Elstree Head Girls and is another reminder for contemporary Head Girls of our past not in rural Elstree but in leafy west London.

An afternoon of excellent food, good conversation and tours of the school followed, with some of our more recent leavers eager to see old form rooms and show the Prefect tour guides old haunts.

Our next alumnae event is on Wednesday 14 November when we invite Old Girls back for the senior production of The Crucible. You can book your free ticket here.
