On 23 June, Habs boys and girls alike came together to help out at our annual Mencap Fun Day. The day aims to provide children that have various learning disabilities with fun activities and give the parents a helping hand. It was full of excitement and smiles, from both volunteers and children, who all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. From bouncy castles to tea cup rides, and even a candy floss machine, there was no shortage of things to do.

Many of the parents say the fun day is a highlight of the year for them and their children. It’s a privilege for both schools to be able to give something back and change a child’s life, even if it’s just for a day. It was a memorable experience for all those involved, and a staple event in the Habs calendar.

Thanks for all your help over the past year!
