On Friday 6 September the new Lower 4 started their school life at Habs with a day designed to get to know each other whilst having fun.  They participated in a carousel of activities and started to learn their way around the school by moving between them.  Pupils worked in teams to build the tallest tower they could using rubber bands and dowelling rods.  Others got creative designing Venetian masks or practising their co-ordination and balance for circus skills.  Drumming required listening and co-operation to produce rhythms together and the lacrosse session introduced the students to some of the basic skills that they will be using in their PE lessons.  Along with getting their lockers sorted out and meeting their form tutors again we hope that they left at the end of a very busy day feeling like they have truly become Habs students and ready for the excitement of their first term.
