This week we have been able to harvest some radishes, and put in their place some beans which have been raring to climb up the bamboo canes. After such a cold start to the growing season, our peas have been a little shy to get going but are now showing signs of quicker growth and we look forward to seeing them climb up their new string supports.
We have now planted out plenty of lettuce and after a very windy start to their life outdoors, they have managed to settle and are enjoying the extra growing space for their roots.
Many thanks to Amy in Middle 5 and Annabel in Lower 4 who came today to make sure that all the vegetables have something to climb on and are well watered for the weekend. More updates to come after half term!
