Around 40 Year 12 and Year 13 students from the Boys’ and Girls’ schools studying Drama, English, Classics and Live Theatre Appreciation thoroughly enjoyed watching Antigone at Regents Park Open Air Theatre on Thursday 15 September.

This was a powerful re-telling of the story, transposed from Ancient Greece to a Pakistani Muslim community in modern day Britain. More than one student admitted to being moved and shedding a tear or two in the final moments of the production.  Nevertheless, they all managed to smile for the camera after the production, in this most magical of late summer settings!
