The end of term Spring Concert took place on Wednesday 29 March in the Prevett Hall and was a wonderful celebration of music-making from students from across the Senior School.

The concert included St Catherine Singers performing excerpts from ‘Dido and Aeneas’ by Henry Purcell, and guest soloist Amelie Jones (U6) performing the second movement from Rachmaninoff’s Second Piano Concerto with Symphony Orchstra. The programme of music from Senior Choir, Wind Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra featured Jurassic Park, El Camino, Coldplay, Grainger and Delius amongst others, with an uplifting finale seeing all performers join together for a special arrangement of You Raise Me Up.

Presentations and farewell were made to our wonderful Year 13 musicians, performing in their last concert at Habs. Our thanks to them for everything they have contributed to the musical life of the school and our very best wishes to them for the future.
