On Saturday 13 May, pupils in Years 3 to 6 from Habs Girls Junior School and Habs Boys’ Prep School came together for a fantastic morning of collaborative cricket.

Pupils in Years 3 and 4 played first thing in the morning, from 8.30am to 10am, and it was great to see four teams playing two separate games. Pupils in Years 5 and 6 were next, participating from 10.30am to 12pm, and finished the morning with endless energy and enthusiasm. Across both sessions, it was brilliant to see the pupils helping one another and offering advice and support to those who may not have played the sport before.
Mrs Liddelow, Head of Junior School PE, said “This is a wonderful opportunity for Habs Girls Junior and Habs Boys Prep to come together to play cricket in a friendly learning environment. The pupils will benefit from this experience and gain both confidence and knowledge.”
Mr Williams, Head of Prep Sport, added “It has been fantastic to see the two schools come together to play cricket and share their experiences. Seeing their boundless curiosity while stepping out of their comfort zones has been both inspiring and heartwarming. We are looking forward to more collaborative events like this in the future.
