Congratulations all students in Upper 5 receiving their GCSE results this morning. In what is another set of incredibly strong results over three quarters of all GCSEs taken were graded at either a 9 or an 8 (A*) and 92% a 7 (A) or higher. 99.73% of all grades were at a 5 (B) or higher.
Most take either nine or ten GCSEs with some sitting an additional Further Maths paper. Just under half of all students received at least nine of the very top grades with 70% of the year group gaining at least seven 8s or 9s.
We would like to thank staff from across the school who have supported each of the students through their unique GCSE journey and to parents for their continued support of their children and the school. We look forward in September to welcoming back our Upper 5 as they join the Sixth Form and begin their A Level studies.
