As the school celebrates the festival of its patron saint, St Catherine, today’s photograph shows the more formal side of the day from 1997. The St Catherine Singers prepare for the morning service in the Prevett Hall alongside their conductor, Miss Lucy Caperon.
Whilst the school was in Acton (1898-1974) it became tradition for the whole school to walk in twos along Creffield Road to St Martin’s for the morning service on St Catherine’s Day. After the move to Elstree the tradition of the service was continued in the Prevett Hall.
