On Saturday 6 February a team of five Lower Sixth pupils took part in the annual Cambridge Chemistry Race.  This involves solving increasingly fiendish chemistry problems against the clock and other teams.  Although, by necessity, it was held virtually this year and involved getting to grips with some interesting software our team performed excellently and got onto the fifth level of question complexity.  Congratulations go to Kiara Jayalath, Khiloni Dodhia, Jessica Alagaratnam, Sarannia Ragulan and Jaden Adu who came 24th out of 50 teams.  Thank you to Helen Burgess and Joy Dabby-Joory for helping prepare the team and supporting them through the event.

We think the final words should go to our team who had the following comments about the competition:

I had so much fun, even though it was frustrating at times, and definitely think it was an incredible experience!

It was so much fun and really challenged us. Thank you so much!

Thank you for providing us with this opportunity! It was an amazing experience and we all had so much fun figuring out the problems!!
