For the last two Wednesday evenings teams of 3 A Level pupils from the Girls’ and Boys’ Schools have joined together to take part in the RSC Schools’ Analyst Competition. The premise was an industrial accident had occurred and each team had to solve what chemicals had been spilled by performing a series of experiments to determine their identity. Their results will be entered into the National Competition and we await to see how they have done.
