Navya in Upper 4 (Year 8) attends Sai School  of Harrow every Saturday where they teach Hinduism/multi faith  and citizenship values. They collaborated with “Art Ma ” – an art gallery of spiritual paintings by all famous and emerging artists – holding an art competition on the theme of “Mahabharata” for different age categories of Sai School children.

Navya took part and won first prize for the category age 12 and over. She was praised by the judge Giampaolo Tomassetti, an Italian artist. He complimented her simple but meaningful idea behind the painting, her deeper thinking and advanced approach to symbolise the war of Mahabharata. The head teacher of the school commented that she would pick Navya’s painting to explain the theme of Mahabharata to any young child and appreciated her creativity.

Well done Navya!
