We are delighted to announce the publication of the Third Edition of Habs History Magazine. The theme for this year is ‘cultural interactions’.

The theme has been interpreted in a wide range of fascinating ways, and draws out some important and lesser known aspects of history (see a few below). We fully recommend having a read.

  • Maddy Sinclair looks at how the arrival of American troops on remote Pacific islands during WW2 led to religious change among the islanders
  • Hannah Haskel examines an outbreak of anti-Semitism in France which divided the country, the Dreyfus Affair
  • Scarlett Harrison Maurer looks at how African American artists contributed to the Civil Rights movement in America

Many thanks to the editorial team and all our contributors.
