Moksha in Year 1 is passionate about children learning about about sustainability.  Over the summer, Moksha embarked on a project, writing to 193 world leaders requesting them to integrate the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals (UN SDGs) into the school curriculum in their respective countries, so that children of all ages, around the globe are aware of the 17 UN SDGs and are taught how to act on these through their everyday activities; commonly known as the UN Global Goals they are a blueprint for a fair, secure and sustainable future. She has been receiving responses from many leaders, including the leaders of Germany, Canada, Malta, St Lucia, Grenada, Norway and Namibia, to name but a few.

On Wednesday, Moksha came to talk to Mrs Flynn about the sustainability development goals and she will soon be holding discussions with the Eco Council and Student Voice to have education about these goals incorporated in the Junior School Curriculum.
