Full-time teacher of Mathematics

 

Required for September 2017, a well-qualified graduate to teach Mathematics throughout the School to Advanced Level and beyond.  80+ girls in each A Level year take Mathematics, and some take Further Mathematics.  A number of students every year progress to study Mathematics and Mathematics-related subjects at university level.

Job Description

Teacher of PE

Required for September 2017, a well-qualified and enthusiastic full time teacher of PE to teach throughout this academically selective day school (years 7-13).  The successful candidate should offer high level teaching and coaching (lacrosse would be a preferable sport), and be willing to teach a range of activities.  Experience in teaching A Level and/or GCSE Physical Education would be an advantage. A full contribution to the school’s extensive range of extra-curricular clubs and fixtures will be expected.

French Oral Assistant - permanent post

An outstanding opportunity has arisen within an academically successful selective school with outstanding results in oral exams.

We require from September 2017, a French Oral Assistant to prepare pupils for the public oral examinations.  

The successful candidate will be required to work over 33 weeks of term time for upwards of nine hours a week. The job is remunerated at £26.68 for 45 minute sessions and £20.75 for 35 minute sessions.  These rates include both base pay and holiday pay.

Job Description

Accounts Assistant & Purchase Ledger

Required as soon as possible, an Accounts Assistant & Purchase Ledger responsible for maintaining and reconciling Purchase Ledger and Supplier Accounts, performing monthly bank reconciliations, dealing with cash transactions, reconciling trip accounts, liaising with suppliers and staff members, assisting in the preparation of month end accounts.

Hours 8.30 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday, with one hour for lunch, during term time and 9 am to 4 pm during school holidays although flexibility in working arrangements will be considered.  Own transport essential.  Free lunch and membership of the school’s group personal pension plan.  

Starting salary not less than £27,000 subject to skills and experience and will be pro-rated depending on the pre-agreed working hours/days. 

Minimum qualification:  Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) or similar.

General Laboratory Technician

Required as soon as possible, a general laboratory technician at this large independent girls’ school.

Hours 8.30 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday, term time only plus four weeks.  Own transport essential.  Free lunch and membership of the school’s group personal pension plan.  

Starting salary not less than £20,000 for a suitably experienced applicant with further progression possible on an incremental scale.
